And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. (Hebrews 13:16)
God calls each of us to give our time, treasure, and talent—and we’re to give from all three of those categories, not just one. Look at the blessings God has for those who give: “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse…and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.” (Malachi 3:10) And: “He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward him for what he has done.” (Proverbs 19:17) When we give, we both acknowledge and imitate God as the giver of all good things. Giving should be both intentional (1 Corinthians 16:2) and responsive to needs that come to our attention.

(1 John 3:17)
* Pray that the men in our lives will be cheerful givers of their time, treasure, and talent, recognizing that all good things are gifts from God to be used for His purpose.
* Pray that these men will be intentional about giving, planning for it within their schedules and budgets.
* Pray that they will be responsive to the needs of others as those needs come to their attention.
* Pray that we as women will give cheerfully as well and will not be stingy or begrudging with our time, treasure, and talent.
